Christina's Road to Recovery

Hello, my name is Courtney and I am starting this fundraiser for my beautiful sister Christina. Christina is the wife of Jarrad Delcambre and mother of their son Maddox. She has worked as cosmetologist in the area for the past 25 years. On Monday July 18th Christina was rushed to the emergency room with life threatening conditions. Ct scans and MRI confirmed that she had suffered multiple strokes. She required emergency surgery to remove multiple clots from her main artery which feeds into the brain. The following day she had to have another emergency surgery to relieve swelling due to cranial fluid build up in her head. Currently she has been in ICU and her recovery has been slowly improving. Her recovery will be a long road that will require intensive therapy. Luckly her and her husband do have medical insurance to help cover some of the cost. If you would like to donate to help differ some of the costs it would be greatly appreciated. Currently there is no timetable on her recovery and her husband has taken time away from work to care for her and their son.
