saving my home

Hi,

My name is Sandra. My common law husband, Paulo, passed away in April, 2022. He left directions in his mother's safe to protect me in the event of his passing. Many witness' have supported this claim including some family members and Paulo's long time friends. Family denied their existence.

When I moved in Paulo was on the verge of losing the home. I financially helped him clear his past debt, worked for his company for no pay, worked my own jobs and paid many of the household bills.

I submitted a claim and hired a lawyer. After almost 2 years of civil litigation and misrepresentation on behalf of my lawyer, a judge has ruled that i must vacate my home for sale. 3 days before ruling my lawyer quit.

I cannot financially continue this fight. I am 61 years old and throughout the duration of our relationship fought to retain our home and help Paulo keep his business operating.

I am hoping with help from GoFund me that I can retain another lawyer to help with litigation and hopefully remain in my home
