Save Snickers: Urgent Surgery Needed

I don’t ever ask for help online, but today I am. This is my girl, Snickers. She is my best girl. I’ve always said if I had to get rid of all my horses but one, she would be the one I kept.

Earlier this year, she lost her first foal due to a bad dystocia. I shared my first pregnancy with her and was so excited for that baby, just for that to happen two weeks after my son was born. The vet and I thought she was in the clear, but she is now having further complications from that trauma and needs either a full hysterectomy tomorrow, or to be euthanized. This girl is my heart, and ever since the traumatic birth this year, I said she would just become my son’s pony. She absolutely adores my boy, and all kids for that matter.
