Senior Thesis Film

Hello! My name is Sarah Kiel and I am raising money for my senior thesis film, Semicolon.

This is a fictional story, that I wrote, based on true events from interviews of several girls who have suffered PTSD.  It follows the journey of a girl named Serena who is trying to overcome PTSD from being attacked by a man named Charlie. While recovering in the hospital, she tries to end her life but fails. She then gets moved to a mental hospital and has been there for about a week. Serena does not trust men and Nurse Aggie is the only nurse in the mental hospital that can help her with day-to-day tasks. 

With this money, I will be able to do the following:

• Hire actors
• Hire on set crew
• Hire soundtrack composer
• Hire a professional artist for custom artwork
• Rent film locations
• Rent an equipment truck
• Purchase props and costumes
