My name is Jaylen Alexander and I’m a student at MetWest in Oakland California.I was recently nominated by one of my science teachers to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF) for Engineering and Technology and Innovation.
The campus that I will be attending is in Needham Massachusetts at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering. While attending I will focus on multiple engineering fields like sustainable designs,robotics and web designs. I will be able to help develop digital models and learn about innovative engineering technology. I will also gain leadership skill that will help me gain confidence, communication skill and responsibility. The funds raised will go towards housing on campus, meals, program materials and all program activities, site visits and transportations.
This means a lot to me because of all the students my teacher could have chosen for this program she choses me. So I would like to take what I have learned from her and gain more knowledge while attending camp. Any donation big or small would be gladly appreciated.
