Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Relief

I'm Ejay Legaspi and I'm a part of a group of friends who volunteered in helping out and prepare relief goods and medicine to those who were affected by the world's strongest typhoon ever recorded. It struck the Philippines overnight and has claimed thousands of lives and homes of many Filipino families.


Each of us is an alumni of Saint Joseph College '99 in Cavite City, Philippines. Xanthia Fajardo (our team lead) and I, who currently lives in Los Angeles, are connecting with the rest of our high school friends and their families in the US to collect money and donations to help us on our initiative.


Our group of friends in Cavite City are preparing relief goods to be sent out thru our contacts in Cavite, Cebu, and Manila to make sure they go directly to the areas that needs them the most (such as Tacloban, Leyte, and Cebu). They have also started their own campaign to raise money by selling clothes and collecting goods from our friends and neighbors. We did this back in 2009 for typhoon Ondoy and now again, we need your help. Every little amount of monetary donations will help us achieve our goals.
