This is my Great-Nephew, Jonah.  In early September he had a little fall that ended with him breaking his femur and being in this cast for quite a while.  He had just gotten it off and seemed to be doing better when, just the other day, he had another tiny tumble and broke the fibula and tibia in the same leg.
Needless to say, they are doing tests to figure out what's wrong with the little guy.  This could lead to a future full of financial stress.
Meanwhile, he's in another cast and they are racking up thousands of dollars in medical costs.
Jonah's Dad, my nephew, is a high school math teacher and his Mom is an elementary school teacher.  Mama is not working right now so that she can stay home and care for Jonah.
Jonah's parents did not want this page as they are not comfortable with "asking" for money.
Any money raised will go to help pay for Jonah's medical costs.
I understand what it is to be in such financial stress that there is not much light in the day.  They have so many other things to be concerned about right now it doesn't seem right, or healthy, to add on concerns about money for taking care of their precious little guy.
