Loss Of A Mother

Losing a parent never comes at a “right” or “good” time. My mom, Tammie Castro, died at the young age of 55. She lived a tough life, filled with trials and tribulations, which made her the very strong headed woman she was. Through her experiences she taught me hard but important lessons I needed in order to succeed in life. The most important lesson she taught me is to never back down. My mom practically forced me to be hard working and independent at a young age. By God’s strength, she influenced me to show endless mercy and grace to people....Starting with her. Tammie was blunt, never took mess from anyone and she knew how to make people laugh. My son, her grandson, loved the times they spent together. Unfortunately she never held a job, and no life insurance was in place. I am humbled to say that I am her biggest accomplishment. Our relationship wasn’t perfect but I want to set her free from the hard life she lived. I want to send her off nicely..help me to say my final goodbye. Everyone deserves that..
