Help for Lisa Dickens

Some of you know my friend, Lisa Dickens, and some of you do not. I put together this fund raiser to help her, and I will share some of her and her daughter's story.

Lisa recently had a very bad car accident and had multiple fractures. She passed out while driving and hit a tree. They don't know what is going on with her health that caused this, but she is not allowed to drive. She is ok and recovering now. However, bills are rolling in. The next issue is that her oldest daughter, Kelsie, is now on life support. Lisa has to stay in a hotel to be near Kelsie.

Kelsie will have her own go fund me set up by her friends. We are keeping them separate as both need help. Kelsie was on vacation in Florida with her dad and sister (Lisa and Kelsie's dad are divorced). Kelsie got sick. She had a stiff neck, slurred speech, and not feeling well. The hospital sent her home as they couldn't find anything wrong. The next day, she couldn't walk, was paralyzed on one side. They got her back to the hospital and that time discovered she'd had a stroke and had meningitis. They treated this, and Kelsie seemed to be improving, so they sent her back home by squad from Florida to Illinois. Once Kelsie arrived, she seemed a bit off, but overall, ok. When the nurse went in for a 3 am check, she found Kelsie unresponsive. She'd had an aneurysm burst and had bleeding on the brain. They did surgery and removed part of her skull to help with the swelling. Kelsie is not recovering well from this surgery. At this time, they doctors are saying she's in a coma, on life support, and it will take a miracle from God to pull out of this. She has 2 small children. I'm sure Sadie and Nathan are wondering where their momma is. It's heartbreaking!
