She needs financial help in order to have a chance. Medical treatments are very expensive in Venezuela, so any little bit helps and it will all go to her medical bills, medicine, and special diet. Below is my cousins story in his words.
Hi, I'm Raúl Acuña, a single father who lives in Venezuela and has raised his two children with great love and effort. Unfortunately one of them, my daughter Daniela Acuña, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (cancer in the lymph nodes) in October of 2016. This has been a very hard struggle from the emotional and spiritual point of view, and also in the economic . It is a disease that causes huge expenses and there comes a time when it is impossible for a person with limited income to face with their own resources, especially with the economic crisis in the country where I live, where there are no medicines and you have to bring them from other countries. My daughter needs to follow the medical treatment urgently and uninterruptedly, since her life is at true risk. That is why I turn to you in search of your collaboration with your heart in your hand and appealing to your humanity, to help my beloved daughter to face this terrible disease so that she may have the opportunity to win this battle and fulfill her dreams. She has just turned 18 and faces courageously the biggest challenge that destiny has placed in her path. Infinite thanks.
Hola, soy Raúl Acuña un padre soltero que vive en Venezuela y que ha criado con mucho esfuerzo a sus dos hijos. Lamentablemente uno de ellos, mi hija Daniela Acuña, fue diagnosticada con Linfoma no Hodking (cáncer en los ganglios linfáticos) en Octubre del año 2016. Esta ha sido una lucha muy dura desde el punto de vista anímico y espiritual, y también en el económico. Es una enfermedad que ocasiona gastos enormes y llega un momento en el cual es imposible para una persona de limitados ingresos, hacerle frente con recursos propios, especialmente con la crisis económica que vive el país donde resido , donde no hay medicamentos y hay que traerlos de otros países. Y mi hija necesita seguir el tratamiento médico de forma urgente e ininterrumpida, ya que está en riesgo cierto su vida. Por eso recurro a ustedes en busca de su colaboración con el corazón en la mano y apelando a su humanidad, para ayudar a mi amada hija a enfrentar esta terrible enfermedad y que pueda tener la oportunidad de ganar esta batalla y cumplir sus sueños. Ella acaba de cumplir 18 años y enfrenta con valentía el reto más grande que le ha puesto el destino en su camino. Gracias infinitas.
