Jake graduated with his Bachelors this year to become a commercial airline pilot. He was working as a flight instructor to support his wife and their 10 month old son. This job was helping get the necessary flight hours he needed to hire on with the airlines, as well as support his beautiful wife Aubrey, who is in school finishing her Bachelors degree. 

Jake was admitted into the ER on December 4, 2019. They found blood clots in both his lungs as well as a 3 inch clot inside his iliac vein near his pelvis. He has been given the necessary medical treatment and medications to help with the healing process. 

Due to this recent setback, Jake has been told that he cannot fly for at least 2-3 months. The FAA medical board will also be evaluating his case and they will need to wait on clearance from them to fly. With his source of income now put on a hold and the Christmas season upon us, I can't help but feel like they could use some love, prayers and support while they try to do the necessary steps to heal and support their family.
