Okay friends, I'm at a loss right now; that's why I've made this GoFundMe. As most of you know, I was blessed with a beautiful baby boy on August 20th. He came a week early, so I wasn't able to work the last week like I was hoping. I ended up going back to work just 2 short weeks after having him so I could start getting regular paychecks again. I ended up missing a full paycheck, and my first paycheck after returning was for only 1 week. I had planned on paying September's rent on October 3rd, which is my first full paycheck, and then paying October's rent with my paycheck that will come on October 17th. After that, I would be back on track in paying November's rent on time. But my landlord just informed me that I have to pay September and October's rent by October 8th, or they are going to file an eviction. I literally get paid 7 days after that. The balance I owe on October 8th is $1,118.50. I have $700 of it, so that makes me $418 short. If they could give me just one more week, I would have it, but they said no. I have called every resource around here, and they have all told me they don't have the financials to help with rent except for Saint Vincent. They can give me $100 and pay it directly to the landlord, but the landlord will not take partial payment, so I have to have the rest of the money to be able to put in with the $100 from St. Vincent. I know everybody is struggling right now, but please, if there is anything anybody could donate, I would greatly appreciate it. I have a 5-year-old who is enrolled in school and loves everything about his school and his teacher and would just be crushed if we had to leave. I hate even having to do this, and it makes me feel horrible, but I literally don't know what else to do.
