Dr. Ruby Higgins, former Grambling State University Vice President of Student Affairs ,former secretary of the GUNAA, and current
President of the Grambling Alumni Chapter suffered the loss of her house and all of the
family’s belongings to a fire on Wednesday, February 14th. Her mother Hazel Douglas, her son Raynald, grandchildren Roman and Reagan also suffered great losses as well. Dr. Higgins is recuperating.
