My name is Marisa Graff and I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my sister-in-law Wendy who is my brother Michael’s wife. Sadly, on 1/23/23 Wendy was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Grade 2 Stage 1B (HER2neu positive) breast cancer. As you can imagine, our whole family is devastated that Wendy has to go through this. We are grateful and encouraged, though that it has been caught early and that her prognosis is good. However, as part of her treatment plan, she will have to endure months of chemotherapy, surgery and then radiation. She has already started treatment and ironically had her first round of chemo last week on her 40th birthday. Please pray as she is dealing with terrible side effects!
Wendy is a stay-at-home mom who homeschools her & Michael’s two boys, Mikey & Reed, and as such, they are a one-income family. We all know medical insurance does not cover all of the mounting costs like co-pays, deductibles, long term medication, other items related to Wendy’s comfort and healing and many other expenses related to this awful disease. Michael has already had to take some time off of work to accompany Wendy to appointments and we just don’t know what the future holds in terms of lost income.
I am humbly asking from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my entire family to please help offset these costs so Wendy and Michael can have some peace of mind to concentrate on her healing and their children to the best of their ability!
Every little bit helps and no amount is too small!
If you are unable to donate financially, please share this page far and wide! Also, you can help by keeping Wendy, Michael, Mikey and Reed in your prayers. We are praying for the following:
*that the cancer will be as contained as possible and not spread
*the treatment plan will be successful
*encouragement for them as they navigate the fear of the unknown at this very difficult and scary time
THANK YOU in advance for your support, it is very much appreciated!
