Hello all of my friends and family~ as most of you know I have been fighting a very aggressive recurrence of Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. This Cancer has taken a toll on me and my family spiritually, emotionally, and most recently financially! My husband is self employed, so between deals that fall apart right before closing and spending so much time chauffeuring me around three times a week to doctor appointments at UCLA Westwood and Santa Monica -- things have been tough. We come to you with our hearts on our sleeve and hearts in our hands to ask for a little financial help. We never thought we would find ourselves in this position. Planning for a catastrophic illness was the furthest thing from our minds. I've been robbing Peter to pay Paul these last few months and his pockets are empty! I've started and restarted this request many times and I'm not sure I have the words to adequately describe my humbleness and need. I have to say I'm also embarrassed. Any money I raise will pay my monthly insurance premium.

I do understand that my sisters and friend Sandy may have already sent you a request for a fundraising brunch in my honor. If that's the case, please disregard this request.
