In the early hours of Monday 05.06.24 the Byrd family had woken to the sound of the fire alarm. The fire began to grow in intensity and quickly spread throughout their house, only giving the family a few minutes to escape. Thankfully they made it out safely, but the fire completely destroyed their home. They lost everything they had. The single father of 4 children, the youngest being 10 years old, lost his wife in 2020, is doing all he can to hold the family together as they work through the trauma of this event.

While some losses can never be replaced we can help this family by showing them our love and support. It will take time for their home to be rebuilt. In the interim, this family needs help with daily necessities, such as food, clothes, toiletries, and lodging.
