Help the Lemieux family

Hi, we are Rich and Sonia's neighbors and very good friends. My husband and I are reaching out on their behalf as their family needs our communities help. Their amazing family is going through the most heartbreaking time of their lives, as their sweet 9 year old daughter Maite was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She recently underwent major lifesaving surgery to have it removed. They diagnosed it as a benign Cranipharyngioma and she is currently recovering at the Calgary Children's Hospital. This type of tumor can have a life long affect and can often require lifelong treatments, sometimes including radiation which would require them to travel to US.

This is any parents worst nightmare, and their whole world has completely stopped while they stay by Maite's side, with their other daughter Isabell, and make sure she recovers as best as possible.

Please consider helping this family as they are currently staying in hotels near the Children's Hospital (Ronald McDonald House is closed for renovations) and the last thing they need right now is to worry about expenses, both from staying in Calgary and regular bills. There will also be many costs associated with her on going care, from rehab to travel for appointments and treatments.
