Sarah's Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Macey Gonzalez, and my family and I are raising funds for my sister, Sarah Gonzalez. As some may know, my sister was in a car accident this past June. A driver under the influence of drugs and alcohol hit my sister while driving home from work. As an outcome of the accident, my sister has suffered from a shattered pelvis, seven hip fractures, a fractured skull, a broken neck, bruised lungs, an arterial dissection, and several other complications post-surgeries. I have witnessed my sister undergo several surgeries and procedures to save her life. Sarah has overcome many obstacles since the accident, from relearning how to walk, adjusting to a 24/7 neck brace, living with a wound vac for two weeks, and now being considered handi-capped for an estimated three years. Unfortunately, insurance can only cover so much of her hospital bills and the person who caused the accident was responsible for far less than a quarter of her medical bills. The amount the other driver was responsible for also did not include the cost of my sister's totaled vehicle. However, our hopes and prayers are to be able to raise enough money to cover a decent amount of my sister's medical bills.
