Birthing Kits

As the Notre Dame Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, we are fundraising to purchase and assemble birth kits that will help provide women in East Africa with safer, cleaner childbirth experiences.

Globally, evidence shows that birth kits significantly reduce childbirth-related infections and improve outcomes for both mothers and newborns by removing barriers to care and supporting access to essential health services.

Last year, thanks to generous support, we reached our goal of $1,000—enough to prepare and send 200 birth kits at just $5 each. This year, we’re aiming to match that impact once again.
