Remember 40 Dogs On A Log For A Cause in 2015?

We raised over $3500 by donating a large portion of the 40 dogs’ hike fees for the day as well as public donations through our GoFundMe page.

It is long due time we spearhead a fundraiser and awareness campaign for the victims of domestic violence who own pets.

Studies show that domestic violence victims who own pets will stay in their relationship for months longer for the sake and safety of their pets.

Either they fear for the safety of their pet if left behind or they are leaving with the pet and can’t find a safe place to stay with those pets.

Victims already face overwhelming obstacles that make leaving a volatile relationship extremely difficult and terrifying.

The campaign proceeds will go towards providing compassionate boarding, food and supplies for these pets while families are getting support, counselling, shelter and trying to get re-established.

Some of the funds will also be used to provide awareness to victims so that they know that they have these options.

On Wednesday March 30, 2022 we will attempt 55 Dogs On A Log!!!
50% of our revenue for the day will go to Haven Pets & Families!
