Poudre High School in Fort Collins is proud to have one of the few active New Orleans-style (a.k.a. Dixieland) jazz bands in the public schools of Colorado. My name is Chris Leonard and I am the director of this high school ensemble. This great group of students has been selected to perform at the Crescent City Jazz Festival in New Orleans, LA, in March of 2014. As such, we are looking for help to cover some of the costs of the trip. Your donations will go directly to the travel and registration costs of the trip, helping the students that can't afford to pay the entire cost. We look forward to representing Fort Collins, and Colorado as a whole, at one of the premiere traditional jazz festivals in America. Please help us in giving these students an experience they will never forget!
