Troy's Recovery

Hi Everyone, as you may already know, last weekend (10th Sept, 2022) our Dad (Troy) had a serious accident and we almost lost him. While using a diamond blade grinder in the garage his protective glove got caught and he almost severed his left hand. The blade cut through 2 major arteries, a major nerve (and many others), all the tendons and half way through his bone. He was rushed to hospital unconcious and endured a 7 hour surgery to try to save his hand. They managed to save his hand but at this stage he can only feel his pinky finger. He will have a long recovery with lots of medical bills and is unable to work for some time. He will not ever be able to drive a truck again, which he has done since he was a teenager! The doctors said that only 1 in 10 people survive both arteries being cut, so we are very lucky he is still alive. If it wasn't for his neighbour hearing him scream, he wouldn't be here. We would like to ease the financial burden and help Dad and Amanda (and our brothers Caleb and Reece) pay the medical and household bills while he is unable to work, so that he can focus on his recovery.
