Young Family Loses Father

A long-time Rogers Park resident and father of three young children died Friday (February 9th) during his morning commute in Chicago. Charles Boye-Doe boarded the red line at Morse, heading to Chase Bank downtown where he'd worked since moving to Chicago in 2008. He never arrived, having died of a possible heart attack. Charles was a Navy lieutenant in the Gulf War and served our country for more than 10 years. His wife Claire is a natural health practitioner and has provided healing to many. Charles studied pre-law and business and met his wife Claire in the Bay area of California 15 years ago. They will have been married 11 years next month. The Boye - Doe's are a much beloved family in our community. Claire will have difficulty acting in the role of sole provider and we ask that you help support them through this devastating time.
