This beautiful little man was born to Mike and Jessica on December 22nd at 1am, 10 weeks early. High blood pressure had made this pregnancy risky for mom and baby, and Jessica had been confined to home for the past 4 weeks, unable to work. Mike has been working multiple part time jobs in order to make ends meet this Christmas, and the two had been planning a move before the baby is born in order to help ease the financial burden.
On December 21st, an ultrasound found that baby was not growing, so the difficult decision was made to deliver him as soon as possible. Baby was born at only 2lbs, 1oz, and has a long journey ahead in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Calgary Foothills hospital.
Money from this campaign will go towards helping Mike spend Christmas with Jessica and the baby. Your generosity will also help cover costs associated with bringing home a premature baby in the next few months.
This new family is already extremely blessed with each other, and would never personally ask for help, but they do need assisstance at this difficult time. Anything you can give, would more than helpful.
