Beverly Faust is a woman who has lived a life that most people only dream of. She's come face-to-face with a tiger in India, been stranded in Greece, has lived and travelled extensively through Europe, and over 20 years ago she and her husband Berno adopted a beautiful daughter from an orphanage in India. In short, Beverly Faust is an amazing woman. However, Beverly's fantastic life-story is drawing to a close.
Last year, while living in Germany, Beverly was diagnosed with stage 4 mesothelioma. Miraculously she has lived a year longer than doctor's predicted, but she has recently been placed on an intravenous feeding tube because she is unable to consume enough nutrients to sustain herself.
Beverly is at peace and has been living life to the fullest this past year, but soon her family and friends will have to say good-bye to this incredible woman.
Because of Beverly's worsening condition, her daughter Shivani is planning on traveling to Germany around January 26th to be with her mother. However, Shivani and her husband Brett do not currently have the funds to afford two tickets to Germany. The couple is attempting to raise $1,500 in order to purchase a ticket for Brett to travel to with Shivani to say his good-byes to Beverly, as well as offer support to his wife during this difficult time.
