Hi, as most of you have heard by now, my girlfriend and I were involved in a fire early Saturday morning. This fire destroyed her entire apartment in Concord, N.H.

Claudia and I woke up around 12:15am to hearing yelling from the street and seeing light flickering under her bedroom door. She believed an intruder was in the house and woke me up but when I ran and opened the door smoke began billowing in. Next, we opened her 2nd story window and jumped out with her dog, Winnie. Claudia ended up hitting her head on the sidewalk and having to go to the emergency room in an ambulance with a severe concussion.

All in all, we are so grateful that everyone involved survived and is safe. However, we lost everything she owns and a lot of what I own. We lost laptops, wallets, IDs, electronics, all furniture, bathroom items, passports, and all shoes and clothes. Claudia is having to begin rebuilding what took her entire life to build.

I am not someone who likes asking for help but I am blessed with excellent, caring people in my life to help me get back on track. I have been asked by a few people to start a GoFundMe so here we are.
