Andy's road to recovery

Hi, my name is Lola Velez-Iglesias, and I am fundraising for my dad Andres Velez. On January 4th, 2022, he was in a motorcycle accident that left him with a severe brain injury and several face and body fractures. He has spent weeks in the trauma center at the hospital and still has a long road to recovery after being recently diagnosed with COVID-19 and blood infections on top of his current condition. As his family, we are trying to raise funds for his hospital bills and above all else for his physical rehab and therapy equipment. My dad is a life-of-the-party kind of guy who loves skateboarding, making music, surfing and playing with his dogs. We hope that with a little bit of help from the community and his production family, we can get him out of the hospital and back to doing the things he loves and back on set.

Hola, mi nombre es Lola Vélez-Iglesias y estoy recaudando fondos para mi papá Andrés Vélez. El 4 de enero de 2022 sufrió un accidente de motocicleta que lo dejó con una lesión cerebral severa y varias fracturas en la cara y el cuerpo. Ha pasado semanas en el centro de traumatología del hospital y todavía tiene un largo camino hacia la recuperación después de que recientemente le diagnosticaron COVID-19 e infecciones en la sangre además de su condición actual. Como su familia, estamos tratando de recaudar fondos para las facturas del hospital y, sobre todo, para su equipo de rehabilitación y terapia física. Mi papá es el tipo de persona que le da vida a la fiesta y le encanta andar en patineta, hacer música, surfear y jugar con sus perros. Esperamos que con un poco de ayuda de la comunidad y su familia de producción, podamos sacarlo del hospital y volver a hacer las cosas que ama y volver al set.
