Javontae and Vincent Jackson need your support to compete in the 53rd Annual Junior Olympic Games 2019. Which is being held this summer July 26 through August 3rd in Greensboro North Carolina.
Hi my name is Javontae Jackson I’m 15 years old and my brother Vincent Jackson who’s 9, we both run track for The Running Fire Track Club in Boynton Beach. We’ve been running track since 2016. We've received so many medals competing against many youths. Just last year we were able to compete for the very first time at the 2018 Junior Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa with the help of family, friends, and donators . My brother Vincent place 8th out of 200 kids running the 800m on a sprung ankle, and I place 17th out of 78 youths beating my time in the 3000m run. We are attempting to raise $3,000 so that we may have the opportunity to complete at the 2019 AAU Junior Olympics in Greensboro, North Carolina. Being invited once again to participate in this competition is an honor that reflects just how dedicated, hardworking, and talented we are as young students athletes on the track, and in the classroom, as well as in the community.
To take part in these events, while providing children and youths like ourselves, with the opportunity to participate in quality structured programs that promote living active healthy lifestyles within a fun and safe environment. We rely on the support of individuals and local businesses to help us build a better and healthier community through sports. 100% of your contributions will go directly towards items such as purchasing uniforms and running shoes, meet entry fees, travel expenses, hotel stay, healthy snacks, and sponsoring my little brother and I. This will not only help us to be able to participate in the 2019 Junior Olympics, but also help us cross that finish line .
Help us educate, train, raise awareness, and teach children and youths how the healthy sport of running can benefit their lives, their communities, and toward their future.
