As most of you are already aware, Shelli is recovering well from surgery after having a 27cm tumor in her right ovary removed two weeks ago.  

While initially being hopeful that it was benign, we got news on Tuesday (March 1st), that it was infact malignant and  she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Yolk Sac Tumor(Ovarian Cancer) in the ovary.  

Her doctor was able to remove the visible tumors. Unfortunately, since it wasn't contained just in the ovary, she will need to start an aggressive chemotherapy regimen that will keep her off of work for the rest of the school year.  

Shelli would be the last person to ask for help, but it goes without saying that the treatment costs, doctors' fees and hospital bills are expected to create a huge hardship.

Your contributions would allow Shelli to focus her energy on beating the cancer instead of having to worry about the financial difficulties most cancer patients face. Any contribution will be helpful and would be greatly appreciated.
