Beloved Daughter, sister and friend was violently struck and run over by a recycling truck on July 24 while crossing the street. She was airlifted to Sentara General Hospital with life threatening injuries where she did put up the fight of her life before succumbing to her injuries. Jennifer Madej took her last breath Aug 1, 2019 at 5:05am at the age of 44.
Jennifer Madej was known as a loving free spirit. She had a passion for art and an intense love for animals.  Some unique pets she kept were an injured pigeon and an injured NYC rat she picked up and nursed back to health. Jenn was involved in her community church in Newport News, VA and would donate her paintings to churches and families going through struggles. Jenn always gave so much of herself to others without asking for anything in return. Although her life lived was no a perfect one, she always did her best to protect the ones she loved. 
Her immediate family is so distraught and unprepared for such a tragic event. Please help relieve them of the initial expenses of this tragic loss.
