Lucifer is my nine month old kitten. Tonight (May 16) we found out that he has a foreign body in his small intestine. The vet gave him fluids and pain medicine and we’re taking him back in the morning and if the object is still there at that point then he will need surgery. The surgery costs anywhere from $5000-9000, which we do not have. If he needs the surgery but we don’t do it, we will have to put him down. Lucifer is a joyful, playful, loving, and otherwise healthy little kitten. The vet says he will likely make a full recovery with no complications. 

 My family and I have already lost two family members since 2020. In all honesty, I don’t think I can cope with another loss. Please, please help save my precious kitten.
