Lis and I are taking part in a 15KM Tough Mudder on Saturday 16th August and would really appreciate any donations to benefit Young Lives vs Cancer. Our inspiration for doing it, is the son of some friend's who, having just finished his A-Levels and preparing for a year of fun and adventure before University, had the shattering news that he was suffering from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. There followed 6 months of intense treatment that was a a huge test for George and his family, who were there in person to support him all the way. Young Lives vs Cancer provided great support to George and his family, including providing accommodation whilst George was undergoing his week long treatment regimes in Sam's House in Bristol.

George has successfully completed his treatment and has shown such strength and resilience throughout. He is a really inspirational young man!

We thought it would be fitting to raise some money that will go towards helping other families who might have a young person undergoing cancer treatment and would benefit from all of the support and facilities that Young Lives vs Cancer offer. So Lis and I find ourselves training for our up-coming event that will certainly take us out of our comfort zones!
