Care for Karolyn

Karolyn Braswell is a vivacious woman of God. She is a retired nurse and has been taking care of many people in her community and her family. No matter what who was in need she would be there. She is also my mother. She has two children and grandchildren who love her dearly. Karolyn became ill one morning and fell in her bathroom. The fall caused her to break her C3 and C4 bones in her neck causing complete paralysis. Emergency surgery was done and the doctors said they have done all they could do. But God. Mom was sent to the Shepherd Center for rehabilitation and regained some movement in her arms. Now home her therapy is not what she is able to receive from Shepherd facility but she is receiving what she can. The goal is for her to be able to be further along in her recovery so she can go back to the Shepherd center in February 2016. With mounting medical bills of $40,000+ and insurance only covering the bare minimum I am asking for help to fill in the gap. Our goal is to hire help for home and to have a better opportunity to receive more therapy so we can return to the Shepherd center in Atlanta, Ga.
