**** On Thanksgiving Holly took JoJo to children's hospital in Pittsburgh. They put Jo in the PICU and immediately realized he was worse than he's ever been. Early Friday morning, November 27th, sweet Jo gained his angel wings. 

When Holly and Scott decided to adopt Jo, they were informed that with his condition he could live one day or for years. They knew that Jo deserved the best life he could possibly have no matter how short his time would be. He was just shy of 5 years old.

JoJo brought so much joy and happiness to their lives. Every smile or laugh was sacred especially knowing that they were limited. After losing Scott so recently,  to pay for another funeral will be hard to do. In just 8 days both a father and husband, a son and brother, were taken from them. Both too soon.

Holly Gatto-Christofferson is an extraordinary woman. Holly made a pledge to herself and God to do his will and raise as many children as her arms and home could support.

On Wednesday, November 18th, she unexpectedly lost her husband, Scott. 25 children lost their father and stepfather. With 17 children at home ( the majority of them having varying degrees of special needs, ranging from cerebral palsy to autism) and so shortly before the holidays, it's hard to imagine the level of pain and sadness this home could be going through.

Scott loved all of his children whether biological, step, or adopted. He never missed a football game or practice. Even in hard times he devoted his life to the care and wellbeing of his kids. He spent many holidays along side jojo at children's hospital when Jo's health was poor. He just laughed when his son "Bubba" (who has Down syndrome) kicked him out of the door at speech because he's too cool for Dad to hang around now. His lose will be forever felt in the hearts of those who loved him and his love and pride for his children will be something that will always be cherished. 

I'd like to raise money to give these kids the best Christmas possible and to help Holly with any expenses or hardships the future might hold. Holly doesn't like to put burdens on anyone and does all the care for her family on her own without nurses or assistance from others. Just to take one stress off of her during this hard time and make the holidays a little easier to bear would be extremely helpful.
