Katie was sent to the emergency room due to a super high white blood count, 3 days later was meeting with an oncologist, a week later she was at the transplant clinic being told that it's now time for a bone marrow transplant. Katie has been battling cml (chronic myelogenous leukemia) for almost 10 years and if she doesn't do something now, it may be more difficult to treat later. She's gone for bone marrow biopsy and is preparing for the next step.
