Micah’s Journey/Micah- the origin of the name means “Who is like the Lord”.

Hi my name is Melinda. Along with me, many of us are reaching out to you on behalf of Dan and Leslie Ann Gilgallon’s precious, sweet boy, Micah. Micah is 3 years old and is the youngest of this wonderful family's eight children. Micah, born with Down’s Syndrome, has been through so much in his first 3 years. This sweet little boy has endured unimaginable adversity yet continues to strive as the warrior and the fighter he has been since birth. Currently, Micah's heart murmur and the leak in his heart has worsened. Sadly, compounding all of this precious boy’s challenges, Micah's devoted Mom and Dad were informed that Micah is also now diagnosed with Leukemia. His cell counts are life threatening. At this time, Micah is being treated at the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital at Geisinger, Danville, PA.

Many more extremely necessary trips to Janet Weis Children’s Hospital at Geisinger, Danville, PA., will incur additional unforeseeable costs moving forward (such as Chemo,etc.). The love that Dan and Leslie have for all of their children is amazing. We respectfully reach out to you to request that all our hearts come together to help this awe-inspiring family in this, their time of need.
