Save Hannah

A young woman approached, deathly afraid, and said "can we please leave here?" My father quickly noticed the cigarette burns on her leg and bruises on her body, so he said "let's go."

Having no place or person left to turn to, she opened up about her story. When she was a child, her mother sold her to a child pornography ring and she has been trying to escape her whole life.

So we found a hotel, and we determined to do whatever it takes to get her out of the system.

It has been nearly impossible to find safety anywhere for her in the three weeks that we have cared for her, even in shelters, as she is consistently targeted by her predators who even sometimes come out after her and threaten her.

After reaching out to countless support centers, we finally found a safe place for trafficking victims like her to fully recuperate. However, it may be up to a month before they have enough space to take her in. My parents have been moving her between hotels; helping her with medical care and groceries. She is still very fearful and has no support system besides us; she is so afraid that even leaving the hotel terrifies her. It has been devastating to discover how little some of our support centers can do for her, hence, we've stepped in.

Please consider helping us take care of Hannah--she deserves to feel safe and loved for the rest of her life. We are past the point of being able to financially provide for her, which is why we are asking for help to get her the last bit she needs to enter the shelter. If you can not financially assist us, then please keep us in your prayers and consider sharing this on your social media. Further, depending on needs, we'll consider any other help, such as meal trains, etc.

I am Kolbe Peloquin, a member of the family who has been supporting her. I will forward all money raised to my parents who are her current primary caretakers. They will make sure that she is provided for. We cannot share exact locations or her name for safety reasons and have given her a pen name of Hannah.
