Hello friends and family, I would like to invite you to join us in my Brother David’s road to recovery.
March 8, 2020 was my brother David’s 41st birthday! A couple days later he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to his stomach. It has been extremely difficult for him and our family. As my father is also fighting pancreatic/lung cancer. David has spent most of the last month in the hospital, He is in the beginning stages of chemotherapy. In the last month David has had numerous complications ranging from blood clots, infections and hasn’t eaten a meal since Valentine’s Day! He is fighting every day to get stronger for the sake of himself and family!
Anyone who knows me knows how important my brother is to me. Not only is he my big brother, he has been a father figure to me, a coach, a mentor and my biggest fan! We have a bond that is unbreakable and can’t be explained. He has always been there to encourage and help me in any way needed! I just feel helpless because I’m not sure how to help him! All I can do is encourage David to fight this demon and to be his biggest fan!
This is extremely difficult for David! He is a very active father and husband. Due to the illness he hasn’t been able to work and as you can imagine the medical bills are piling up! The last thing David needs right now is stress! Unfortunately, he is stressing! With, one of the many ways I’m trying to help is by asking for your support to help with his medical bills and any other expenses his family will endure!
We need all the support and prayers to help David fight this fight! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to David, his wife Megan and 2 boys Dylan (13) and Cody (12) and let them know they’re not in this alone.
Thank you
