On 4/17/20 at around 11pm at night, our beloved Dang passed in a tragic murder-suicide. The violent nature of the situation leaves us all in shock and devastation.

Five days later, Dang's father, Thongbai, passed away of natural causes in Thailand. The family in Thailand is making funeral arrangements for Thongbai while trying to negotiate travel options to the US during the pandemic.
While the family appreciates everyone’s generosity and eagerness to help, they have informed me that no financial assistance is needed at this time. They are extremely humbled by this gesture.
Since the family is managing two deaths in different countries, I suggested allowing his friends/family to contribute towards funeral costs for convenience purposes (i.e. The family can make decisions via phone/email and have funds paid from this account to the funeral home). I reaffirmed to the family that allowing us to help with funeral costs is a way for all of us to pay respect and thank Dang for his friendship. Although the family would like to emphasize that this is not necessary, they have agreed to let us help. Any remaining monies from this page will be donated by the family to a charitable organization in Thailand in memory of Dang. Any updates regarding donations, made in Dang’s memory, will be posted on his Facebook memorial page.
The family is overwhelmed with gratitude and thanks everyone for their support and well-wishes during this difficult time.
