Tony Torres Memorial Fund

 

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the unexpected passing of Tony Torres, age 50, on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

 

Tony formally worked, as a lineman, for Austin Energy since the age of 19 and loved his job. Tony was passionate about spending time with his wife, granddaughters, and family.  Some of Tony's favorite things to do were Tejano dancing with his wife, Deanna, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and visiting and playing with his granddaughters. Among some of his other favorite things to do were celebrating the 4th of July and New Year's Eve with of all the fireworks.

 

Tony was a hard working, caring, and generous man who loved his family more than anything. He always wanted everyone around him to be happy and would have done anything for anyone.  He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

 

His wife, Deanna Torres, is a dedicated educator and colleague with Pflugerville ISD.   At this time we are doing a memorial fund to help her out with any unexpected expenses due to this sudden loss.
