Diamond Diva Gone But Not Forgotten (My Sister)

Her spirit extraordinarily touched us all. The pain of this reality is the hardest thing we’ve ever had to bear. God is the only comfort we find while we are in the middle of a nightmare. We will remember you in your truest and best light. You were a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt, and most of all a true friend.
"My daughter was my first real, live baby doll. God gave her to me, and I gave her to the world, and she gave unconditional love that served as the glue that held us all together." Momma(Julia)
"Our sister was our first true friend. She was the best big sister anyone could ask for, and we wouldn’t have traded her for anything in this world." Daphne & Mikeya
"Our Auntie taught her girls how to be true divas and made sure to rough her nephews up every time she saw them." Nieces & Nephews
"Our mother was more than our mom. She was our best friend and the happy side of us, where all our joy came from. Our mom was full of laughs and positivity; please help us raise money for our mom." Malik & Marquez
Iris had more friends than we could possibly count. True story: one time, we were in a meat market 900 miles away from Detroit, her hometown, and as we spoke about Iris, someone recognized the very “Iris” we were speaking of. Iris had gone to high school with that individual and he remembered her well into his adult life. It is impossible for us to know how many lives she touched, because she was one of the rarest forms of love that everyone gravitated towards. Iris did not have any burial insurance, so if you recognize the “very Iris" we are speaking of, please help us lay her beautiful spirit to rest. Whatever you are able to give will help fund all of her final costs. We truly appreciate your support.
