Hi my name is Yvonne, nickname Angie.

My parents were born in Jamaica as was my three of my siblings.

I was born in Manchester, (North West of UK) where I live and work.

I am raising funds to help friends and people in the aftermath Hurricane Melissa. I've been blessed to visit Jamaica quite a few times in the last 10 years staying with family and friends who have always shown me incredible kindness and hospitality. My most recent visit in April this year I stayed in the parish of St Elizabeth for the first time namely Santa Cruz and the village of Cataboo. Black River where we shopped and sat by the sea is now destroyed. Homes have been lost completely and roofs are no longer there.

Watching the devastation and listening to people's stories is heart breaking. This fundraiser is my way of giving back and will be given directly to people that need it to help repair their homes.
