Hi, my name is Kisha Humphrey. I’m setting up this GOFUNDME for my father. My dad, Frank Philips, lost his battle with cancer today. Thirteen years ago he was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer. The cancer was removed and his margins were clear for a number of years. Those years after his surgery were great. He was able to spend time with his kids and his kids’ kids. We tried to make a lot of memories but never knew that the memories we were making wouldn’t be enough. May 2022 my dad started complaining of pain and everything hit so fast. He was hospitalized in June because his cancer had returned but this time, with a vengeance. He spent his last couple of months fighting to get well enough to come home. As hard as he was working to fight off the cancer the harder the cancer was working to consume him. The last few days he made peace with his outcome. He made sure to tell me how much he loved his daughters and his 9 grandkids and 1 new great grand. So we definitely weren’t prepared for the fast downward spiral my dad’s health took. So I’m asking with a heavy heart, anything helps. Thank you to everyone that said prayers and kept my dad’s name lifted. He’ll greatly be missed by all.
