Save My Home

In 2012 I retired after 32 years at the VA hospital to help my husband out.  He was losing his eyesight and could no longer drive. He died a month later on his 66th birthday.  Since that time,  I needed to cash out a retirement account to pay off his debts.  A year later, I had major surgery  and got a home equity loan to pay off that account.  It has been a struggle ever since.  My medications are nearly $400 per month.   Now Multnomah county wants to foreclose on my house due to $12,000 in back property taxes I owe to them.  I have lived in this house for almost 40 years and have so many memories of my husband and myself here.  My house was built in 1964 and is a 950 square foot ranch style home, nothing big and fancy.  The house I grew up in had one bedroom us four kids shared.  This house means so much to me, it's all I got.  I have two and one half weeks to raise some funds.  I will appreciate any support you can give.  I don't know where I would go if I lost my home.  There is just me and my cat Stinkie living here.  I had no children.  Please help me save my home.
