Hello

My name is Vivian, and I am Gilbert Galvan’s baby sister. If you know my brother, I am in big trouble for doing this. He is such a proud man and would instead be helping than asking for help. But he really can use the help. He kept experiencing debilitating headaches; these headaches would result in seizures. He visited several doctors with very little relief or an explanation of the cause. They finally found the right doctor, and he was diagnosed with ANCA VASCULITIS. This illness has permanently damaged his kidneys, and they are now functioning at 20%. In December 2021, he had a stroke that paralyzed his right hand and arm, and his speech was compromised. The doctors also found that he has had many mini-strokes. He is now on permanent disability, which was a devastating blow if you know my brother.

His spirit is ok but not good at times.

The Gofundme account is to help him get a service dog. A dog (Sassy) has been selected and has started the training process.

$2,000.00 has already been donated to start the training process. Any additional will help pay for continued training, equipment, and food. I believe this will help lift Gilbert's spirits and assist when he is alone should he have another seizure or stroke.
