It’s that time of year again! I am in the process of making an order for approximately 60 youth Bibles and other evangelistic materials. I am excited to report that God continues to do amazing things on Friday mornings at The Refuge!For those of you who are not familiar with The Refuge, it is a student ministry God placed on my heart in January of 2016. I began the ministry at Ervinton Elementary School as I was teaching there at the time. This school year I was transferred to Clintwood Elementary School; therefore, have transferred the ministry there as well for 4th and 5th graders. Thankfully, the opportunity presented itself to start live streaming our meetings back to Ervinton Elementary this past November for 3rd-5th graders.. Since it’s inception in January 2016, over 100 students have given their heart to the Lord! There have also been approximately 70 Bibles given to students since that time. The goal and mission of Refuge Ministries is to help students learn about the Lord, develop a close relationship with Him, and to become bold in their faith. A part of this process is making sure that students have a good Bible on their reading level to study. Please pray as to how the Lord might have you help us with this. I am open to coming and speaking at local churches regarding this ministry and to answer questions or provide more details as necessary. I know several of you have wanted to mail or hand deliver donations versus making an online contribution in the past and that is acceptable as well.
