Hello Internet,
A few years ago I moved to a small mountain town and I met a man named Scott Mulligan, A great guy with an amazing sense of humor. Always greeting you with a smile. As I got to know Scott I learned he would give you the shirt off his back kinda guy. Hard working, fun, kind,and a great dad. Scott is also a double amputee. A few years before I met him he was invloved in a serious car accident. Both his legs were crushed. After several surgeries and alot of pain he was given a difficult choice, have his legs removed below the knee and learn to walk again or suffer constant pain and maybe not be able to walk ever. He made his choice, and after the difficult recovery learned how to walk again, drive again, ride a dirtbike again, ski again and do things alot of us take for granted. He enjoys being on the river, swimming, hiking,and a good round of golf of course.
Scott has worked with the adaptive ski program helping others with a disability enjoy sking again. And this is where this go fund me comes in. This year Scotts custom made preostetic feet have basically fallen apart. They are very expensive and need to be replaced every few years, I have watched him have to stop alot of the things that give plesure in his life. Even walking is getting extremely difficult. The duct tape that holds them togeather isnt gonna last forever. So I am asking the internet for help. The money raised by this go fund me will be used for the sole purpose of getting Scott a few pairs of new feet. I wana make sure that he will be able to enjoy the things that make me look up to him for what he has overcome. Every dollar gets him closer to getting some new feet.
