Hello, my name is Ashley. I am 34 years young and a single mom to 3 beautiful little girls. I have been in the hospital for just shy of two weeks. I have been put through numerous tests to see what might be causing all of my symptoms; however, the doctors have not been able to figure it out. I just recently had to have a D&C with an ablation to stop my uterine bleeding and a bone marrow biopsy as they're checking me for cancer, infectious diseases, and viruses that could be causing bone marrow suppression. My platelet count continues to decrease every day. As of this morning, my platelet count is an 8, and the normal range is 150 - 450. That being said, I am having to have platelet transfusions almost daily. As scary as all of this is, I can't help but worry about all of the bills piling up while I'm hospitalized. If I am not working, I cannot collect a paycheck. If you are able to donate to myself and my family, it would be very much appreciated. I just want to be better and at home with my babies.
