My sister Taylor was in a tragic car accident at the end of August, 2019. She was on her way to her first class of her final college semester when a construction truck hit her dead on. As a result Taylor suffered severe injuries to legs, hips, pelvis, and arm. After multiple surgeries and months of hardship between the hospital and in home care, Taylor was able to successfully graduate in December of 2019 with her early childhood and special education degree.
It has been close to a year since her accident and a long road of recovery is still ahead. Taylor has already undergone more surgeries in the spring of 2020 and was recently informed she will need another just weeks ago. It is July 8th of 2020 and the road to recovery for Taylor is getting longer. Thousands of dollars in medical bills have piled up, with new ones yet to come. Our family is beyond financially overwhelmed.
Taylor has always been outgoing, and has a huge heart for those around her. She is an amazing, strong young woman with such a bright future ahead of her and so much to bring to the world.
