When people tell you that life can change in a split second, you think you know what that means. Then something happens and you understand exactly. On January 30, Isla Buckland, a fantastic 18-year-old kid, was given a devastating diagnosis of Bone Cancer, Osteo Sarcoma. Having just finished high school, Isla was on the brink of an overseas adventure.

Over the last two weeks her strength and resilience facing this unexpected set back is nothing short of inspiring.

Over the next six months, Isla is scheduled for chemotherapy to beat this disease and will need full time care and modifications to her life and routine.
